About Pacific Berowra Christian School

Berowra rests on a sunny plateau above the Hawkesbury River 40 kilometres north of the Sydney CBD, and just ten kilometres north of Hornsby. Berowra is a close-knit, family oriented community and is surrounded by natural bush land, national parks and the Hawkesbury River valley.

This blend of natural surroundings forms the backdrop to Berowra Christian School that is located on the corner of King Street and Berowra Waters Road, Berowra.

Our Facilities

Berowra Christian School is known for its big-hearted approach to educating students and this is reflected in the attention to detail, not only in the curriculum, but in the approach taken to facilitate the students in every way.

The School’s excellent facilities include an up to date library that provides dedicated reading areas, practical work spaces and a sunny outlook, encouraging students to linger and continue learning.

Outdoors, the children have access to Berowra Oval, which is used for both weekly lunch time sport and PE lessons. It is also where we organise whole school events such as the Athletics Carnival, Cross Country and Sport.

In future years we intend to expand our property footprint and expand on these activities, broadening the students’ awareness of and experience in a larger range of outdoor activities.

Over the past five years the school hall has been significantly refurbished and now sports a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for functions, the Fresh Food Friday group and staff meetings. It has greatly enhanced our community-school based activities, inviting friends and families to stay and encouraging healthy relationships.

Other additions to the school facilities include:

  • Air conditioning in classrooms
  • Interactive whiteboards in every class
  • Chromebooks and Ipads to develop confidence in 21st Century ICT Skills
  • Engaging and safe play equipment with shade sails
  • General maintenance upgrades to existing buildings
